The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, even at the age of 75, continues to work with remarkable persistence and determination. The passion and hunger he shows to develop Amaravati clearly reflect his commitment.
At a recent conclave in Delhi, Chandrababu spoke about how he views the capital development project of Amaravati as a golden opportunity rather than a burden. This statement speaks volumes about the kind of visionary politician he is.
During his speech, Chandrababu noted that God had given him the rare opportunity to develop not just one, but two cities Hyderabad and Amaravati. He confidently stated that he is fully satisfied with the work done in Hyderabad and is now entirely focused on developing Amaravati.
One key point worth noting is that there have been some politically motivated disputes questioning Chandrababu’s role in Hyderabad’s development. While these criticisms aim to downplay his contributions to the global city, they still persist.
However, when it comes to Amaravati, there is little doubt Chandrababu is the chief architect and driving force behind the project. Once he completes this ambitious undertaking and delivers a clear message to the people of Andhra Pradesh, his legacy will be beyond debate.
Previously, Jagan Mohan Reddy showed a lack of interest and negligence toward the Amaravati project, which led to its decline. But things are now taking a positive turn under Chandrababu’s leadership and dedication.
The encouraging part is that Amaravati, once seen as a neglected project under the previous chief minister, is now viewed as a “golden chance” under CM Chandrababu Naidu. This kind of optimistic and focused approach is exactly what the capital project needs to help Andhra Pradesh shed its “capital-less” identity.
