Amravati Humiliated By Sakshi: Lokesh Fires Back?

The capital region of Amaravati was brutally mistreated in the 5 years of Jagan regime. Almost every construction and development project was scrapped while the capital posed a ghost town atmosphere. 

And with the resurgence of the NDA government, the Amaravati Project also regain momentum. However, it appears that Jagan’s group is still vehemently against this capital project. The same can be understood from a prime time show that happened on Sakshi TV yesterday.

In this prime time show, a so-called journalist who was being interviewed by Sakshi labelled Amaravati as a “city filled with prostitutes.” This seriously regressive comment instantly led to public ire with Sakshi getting lambasted for posting such atrociously provocative content. 

IT Minister Nara Lokesh took serious offence to this statement by Sakshi, and he lambasted Jagan over the same. 

“Amaravati is truly the capital of the gods! Amaravati is a result of the mothers who sacrificed their lands. What does the wicked man who chased away his own mother and his own sister know about the sacrifices and greatness of women?

Our Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has repeatedly warned that if they come near women, misbehave with girls, or commit atrocities, that will be their doomed day. 

We are punishing those who speak in a way that damages women’s self-confidence according to the law. We will not forgive Jagan Reddy’s gang for insulting the mothers who gave birth to them and the women who have walked with us all their lives to spread poison on Amaravati, Lokesh stated. 

There is already a lot of public outrage on this shameful comment made on Amaravati Sakshi’s prime time show and now, it has to be seen if Lokesh would reinstate further by taking legal action against the same. 

But nevertheless, this again highlights the hate that pro YCP batch has against Amaravati. It is strange to note that an ecosystem, the ruled AP for five years holds so much against one single capital city which had nothing against them.
