The former IT minister of Telangana and the incumbent working president of BRS, KTR is currently at the ACB office in Hyderabad. He is being investigated by the authorities in connection with the Formula E case that is filed against him.
In this context, the BRS workers from across Telangana have piled up at the Telangana Bhavan in Banjara Hills of Hyderabad.
Reportedly, thousands of BRS supporters have flooded the party head office, which has led to a problematic situation at the premises. Hyderabad police are alerted about the incident and they have started to take adequate measures in order to bring this situation under control.
Thousands of party workers gathered at the party headquarters in a show of support. Barricades were put up, and a large number of police personnel were deployed to maintain law and order.
This comes shortly after KTR addressed the possibility of him getting arrested as he said “I am ready to go to jail, not once, but even 100 times if it is for the betterment of Telangana.”
Incidentally, In a security measure, Hyderabad police temporarily shut down the popular Niloufer Café located near the party headquarters. Customers inside the cafe were asked to leave, and the premises were forcibly closed. Following the closure, police reportedly arrested a few individuals from the spot.
