Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh appears to be firmly in control as he transitions into a key leadership role within the NDA alliance. His composed and mature speech at an NDA meeting last evening reflected the same.
Lokesh pointed out that while people are saying the NDA’s historic win is a joint effort of TDP, BJP, and Janasena, the real credit goes to the people of Andhra Pradesh. He emphasized that it was the public who delivered this overwhelming mandate by electing 95% of NDA candidates. Therefore, this victory belongs to them.
In a soft yet impactful manner, Lokesh gave a wake-up call to NDA MLAs and MPs. He highlighted the stark contrast between the previous Jagan-led government and the current NDA regime.
“The previous regime had 151 MLAs. If we analyse how they dropped to just 11, the main reason is their irrationality and irresponsibility. We must never repeat that mistake. I urge our public representatives to stay connected with the people and interact with them regularly and positively,” he said.
Lokesh further stressed the need for a healthy, competitive spirit among NDA MLAs. He said this approach would encourage the development of each constituency and ultimately contribute to the overall progress of Andhra Pradesh.
