Even as the ongoing tussle between SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar and AP state government continues and a fight between a constitutional body and legislative body continues, minister Kodali Nani has made sensational comments on Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar. Notwithstanding that the State Election Commissioner post is equal to a High Court Justice, minister Kodali Nani abused Nimmagadda. Stating that Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has “no shame”, Kodali Nani alleged the SEC is biased towards TDP. Nani further alleged that Nimmagadda has “read out” a letter written by opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu and that proves their “nexus”.
“Nimmagadda Ramesh Ki Siggu, Saram Ledu,” said AP Minister. These comments from a minister on the State Election Commissioner is highly objectionable. Accusing Nimmagadda of favouring Opposition, minister Nani demanded Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar’s resignation. This is not all. Minister Nani referred Nimmgadda using singular and dis respectable manner throughout his media briefing whereas on quite contrary he referred chief secretary garu.
Meanwhile, Kodali Nani claimed that several government officials are on leave due to Covid. He claimed that several police personnel and several government officers are suffering from post Covid-19 ailments and they are not willing to do election duty. He said the government can’t facilitate election if conducted now by the EC. Nani also alleged that TDP is trying to win some MPTC and ZPTC seats in an illegal manner in the state by doing wrong practices.
