Jagan Wants Immunity In Singayya Case: What HC Said?

The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan is in the middle of a legal mess after his car rammed into Singayya and killed him on impact while Jagan was on his recent visit to Sattenapalli.

Guntur police have already arrested the driver of the car and named YS Jagan as A2 in the case. Intense police investigation is underway now as it appears that the department has taken this case very seriously.

After processing the legal situation, it appears that Jagan is also concerned about the legal consequences as he moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court on this matter.

Earlier Jagan had filed a petition at the High Court, asking for an interim order from the court, instructing AP police not to take harsh and immediate measures in the case. He had even filed a quash petition in order to evade the legal consequences in this case.

However, the High Court was having none of this as it was affirmatively mentioned that it is not possible to pass interim orders to the police department at this point in time. So, the attempt of Jagan to evade any immediate action in this case didn’t yield him desired results.

The High Court adjourned the case to next hearing tomorrow and it has to be seen what sort of a judgement would be delivered. It appears that Jagan himself was very concerned about this matter now as he has even moved the high court on the same.
