Andhra Pradesh IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh is winning praise for his efforts to improve the state’s primary education system. His goal is to give every child access to quality education, and his recent actions show how serious he is about it.
During the launch of the state’s first VR Education School in Nellore district, Lokesh noticed a young boy at the event who looked poor and unkempt. The boy was not part of the school system and seemed to be missing out on education. Lokesh immediately asked officials to help the boy and give him a chance for a better life.
In just one day, the boy’s transformation was amazing. He got a clean haircut, new clothes, and looked neat and confident. People on social media are calling it the “Lokesh effect.” One user wrote, “This is what happens when a minister truly cares about his work.”
A Promise for Two More Children
Another touching moment came from a speaker at the same event. He shared a personal story about two poor children, including one named Venkateswarlu, who told the district Collector they wanted to study but couldn’t afford it. Lokesh said he would personally adopt both children and take full responsibility for their school and higher education.
He encouraged all students to face life’s challenges boldly and aim to become leaders and changemakers, not just followers. Lokesh also mentioned how he learned from his own defeat in the 2019 elections.
These inspiring stories from Nellore show that education in Andhra Pradesh is not just about technology and schools, but also about heart, care, and giving every child a real chance to succeed.
