Jagan’s Support to Farmers Ends in Crushed Crops & Chaos

Former chief Minister YS Jagan is back on his weekly tour to Andhra Pradesh as he visited the Chittoor district to spend time with mango farmers earlier in the day today. As usual, this visit is also marked with chaos as uncontrollable crowds were mobilised, thus adding extreme pressure on the police department.

However, it has become a clear pattern that whenever Jagan is stepping out to help, the farmers is turning out to be more of an atrocious mess than a helping hand.

Earlier, when YS Jagan went to Guntur Mirchi Yard, several YCP leaders were caught on camera, stealing mirchi bags. Farmers were severely distressed by this horrifying act by YCP men and they faulted Jagan for the same.

A similar scene was seen when Jagan later went to tobacco farms where his men destroyed the produce by bombarding the farms and stepping in the crops.

And now while Jagan stepped out in Chittoor District, which is historically significant for producing mango crop, another shocking scene was on display.

In order to add volume and agitating spirit to Jagan’s protest, certain men associated with the party did a horrifying thing as mango fruits were thrown on road and crushed with a tractor. This horrifying scene where several hundreds of kilos of mangoes were destroyed, just to create a visual optic for Jagan’s visit is drawing ire.

While farmers spend all year long to cultivate Mangos, these fruits were illogically thrown on the roads and thrashed just to add fire to Jagan’s presence. This shocker of an incident is grabbing all the negative attention on social media.

Well, it has become increasingly clear that Jagan stepping out for farmers is doing more bad than good to the farming community. It is seriously time for Jagan to recuperate on his choices and find different ways to protest, remarked a neutral observer.
