Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has a consistent habit of commissioning internal surveys to assess public perception of his MLAs and MPs. He uses this feedback to evaluate the performance of his representatives and offer appropriate guidance.
In his fourth term as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu is continuing this strategy. He has reportedly commissioned not one, but two surveys to understand the public opinion on his party’s representatives.
According to reports, Babu has commissioned the KK Survey and the Showtime Survey to gather this feedback. The data from these two surveys has reportedly been compiled and will soon be presented to the Chief Minister.
It is said that around 10,000 samples were collected from each of the 175 assembly constituencies in the state. The surveys focused on 35 key questions related to local administration and major government policies.
It is reliably heard that around 15 MLAs are already on the back foot. A few others are said to be lagging on social media despite repeated warnings from the top leadership.
Chandrababu is expected to be briefed on the survey findings shortly. He will then hold detailed discussions with his representatives. Follow-up action is likely to be initiated immediately based on the insights from the reports.
