Jana Sena, a key partner in the NDA government, is starting to make a strong impact at the grassroots level. Pawan Kalyan’s strategy, especially in rural and tribal areas, seems to be working. His aim is clear, to reduce the YSRCP’s hold on its traditional vote banks and strengthen the coalition’s position across Andhra Pradesh.
By focusing on development issues like road construction, basic infrastructure, and drinking water supply through the Jal Jeevan Mission, Pawan is targeting areas that were once considered YSRCP strongholds. He is also making efforts to bring central funds to support these initiatives. This approach is slowly shifting public support toward Kutami.
Ministers and MLAs under the ‘Suparipalana’ program are now touring villages and are seeing the results of Pawan’s planning. Internal reports suggest people are happy with the direction of development, and the grip of YSRCP is weakening.
Recently, local leaders from Godavari districts and few from North Andhra left YSRCP and joined Jana Sena. This indicates a political shift at the ground level. When leaders at the mandal and district level start switching parties, it often reflects a bigger change in public mood.
