As we had reported earlier, the chief ministers of the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Chandra Babu and Revanth Reddy are scheduled to meet in front of the Jal Shakti Ministry in Delhi today.
The latest news is that the timeline and scheduling for this crucial meeting has been locked and loaded as the two chief ministers are scheduled to meet at around 2:30 PM in the afternoon today.
The meeting will be held at the Jal Shakti department facility, and it will be monitored by minister CR Patil. The primary objective of this meeting between the two Telugu chief ministers is going to be to resolve the ongoing Krishna waters distribution issue.
It is a fact that Revanth Reddy and Chandrababu had met each other a couple of times in the past, but these were more of formal meetings to resolve minor issues. But that is not going to be the case with the meeting in Delhi today, as this will have a lot of significance as the long standing Krishna water distribution agreement will come to discussion here.
Nevertheless, it must be a positive site to see the two chief minister Chandrababu and Revanth Reddy alongside each other after a long time.
