JanaSena chief and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is all set to shift his full attention to party building from September. After delivering a clean sweep by winning all 21 seats contested in the 2024 elections, Pawan has been balancing his administrative role with film commitments. However, strengthening the party has remained on hold due to his packed schedule.
Sources now reveal that Pawan has finalised plans to begin an intensive party-building exercise. Alongside his responsibilities in the NDA government, he is strategising to expand JanaSena’s base across Andhra Pradesh. Reports say Pawan has already conducted internal surveys and identified around 50 constituencies where the party is strong.
District-wise appointments of party presidents are expected to begin soon. After that, Pawan reportedly wants to launch a door-to-door campaign to connect with the public and expand the cadre base.
During the 2024 campaign, Pawan himself acknowledged the party’s weak grassroots structure. Now, he plans to fix that by focusing on 70 to 75 constituencies initially, and then the remaining areas after the 2029 elections.
