Will Win More Than 10 Seats In MIM’s Adda: KTR

The political heat in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad has spiked with the GHMC elections. With just a day left to the nominations, all political parties are busy with finalising candidates. The TRS party is almost done with it and many of their candidates have filed nominations too.

Accordingly TRS working president KTR took part in a ‘Meet The Press’ on Thursday and talked about the GHMC elections and prospects of his party performing in the polls. Here the media persons have asked him about the openly hidden friendship with the MIM party. To this, KTR replied that TRS is fighting the polls alone.

“Congress calls us BJP’s B-team while BJP does the same calling us Congress B-team. Our alliance is with people and they are our side. Coming to the MIM, in the last elections we have won 5 seats in MIM’s strong hold and at Jiyaguda division, our party candidate lost to MIM candidate with just five votes. This time we are confident of winning more than 10 divisions and that too from MIM’s adda,” said KTR.

On the BJP’s criticism that TRS would hand over the GHMC Mayor seat to MIM, KTR countered that why would his party do something like that. “I can confidently say that on December 4th, TRS corporator will become the Mayor of GHMC,” stated KTR.
