AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has decided to adopt poor families himself under the P4 scheme. This move comes after some people, including Jagan, questioned the program and said the leaders should adopt families first.
To answer these comments, Chandrababu said he will also take part in the program and adopt families. He told officials to make sure the process is honest and clear, and to avoid any mistakes.
He also gave a deadline: all poor families to be identified by August 10. He asked officers to work with big companies and industries to help more families. The target is to have 15 lakh families adopted by August 15.
So far, 57,000 people from the IT and industrial fields have come forward to adopt families. The government wants to put their names online to inspire more people to join.
Chandrababu also praised the Palnadu district for having the highest number of volunteers. He told other districts to work faster and give updates to families regularly. He asked officials to clear any doubts people may have about the program.
By joining the program himself, Chandrababu wants to show that real leadership means setting an example.
