Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is starting an important six-day visit to Singapore today. He will leave from Hyderabad airport around 11 PM and reach Singapore early tomorrow morning at 6 AM.
The chief minister will be joined by IT Minister Nara Lokesh, Industries Minister TG Bharath, key government officials, and other representatives on this trip.
On July 27, Chandrababu will attend an international investors summit in Singapore. Later, he is also expected to meet with the local NRI community. Around 5000 NRIs are expected to attend this event and interact with the chief minister.
During the visit, Chandrababu will also explore Singapore’s social infrastructure systems and gather ideas to possibly adapt them for Amaravati’s development.
This trip is seen as an important one, as it could bring valuable knowledge and future investment to Andhra Pradesh. The Singapore government is fully cooperating with this visit, due to its strong past relationship with Chandrababu.
Meanwhile, with both Chandrababu and Lokesh away, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will be the key political leader in Andhra Pradesh for the next few days. This may turn out to be a unique and significant time for Kalyan as well.
