On the second day of the ongoing parliamentary sessions, the discussion was again about the recent Operation Sindoor. This time opposition leader, Rahul Gandhi made very strong point against Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding military operation.
Primarily Rahul Gandhi demanded Narendra Modi to elaborate on United States president, Donald Trump’s statements about settling the dispute. Rahul wanted Modi to project self sufficiency in this matter and show that India is not as its counterpart to terrorism.
The clear implication from Rahul Gandhi was to call Donald Trump a liar for falsely claiming credit for settling the dispute with Pakistan.
In response to this, Prime Minister Modi addressed the demand of Rahul Gandhi and said India was very sharp in its response to the tourism activity of Pakistan.
“It was the United States president who approached us and sought to diffuse the situation. The Pakistani DGMO had also beg to diffuse the situation as they had suffered a lot of loss and cannot sustain anymore. India was never in a position of weakness here.” PM Modi said.
This makes it clear that Operation Sindoor has been the focal point of discussion in the parliament two days in a row.
