Kodali Nani Compares Nimmagadda With Dog

The ongoing conflict between the ruling YSRCP and the State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has taken an ugly turn in connection with the Gram Panchayat elections. AP Minister for Civil Supplies Kodali Nani launched a fresh war of words on Nimmagadda using his trademark derogatory language.

Interacting with the media at CM’s Camp Office in Amaravati, Kodali Nani said that Nimmagadda is like a dog on a golden throne and that the throne’s reputation and legacy will be tarnished if a dog sits on it. “Nimmagadda must resign or ‘made to resign’ to save constitution. The entire state knows whether Nimmagadda is part of the constitution or part of the TDP,” the minister said.

Nani further alleged that Nimmagadda is simply obeying his master and TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s orders and demanded that the SEC must resign and contest elections on a TDP ticket to prove if he has the support of the people.

Nani also said that the state government has refused to go ahead with the Panchayat polls as many policemen, teachers and other officials have tested positive for COVID-19. He concluded saying that the government will move the court if the Election Commissioner is adamant about holding the polls in February.
