For a long time now, political observers have been pointing out that former chief minister YS Jagan is way too obsessed and frustrated with Chandrababu. This is evident in the way, Jagan targets Chandrababu on a daily basis and even had the tenacity to jail the senior politician.
This fascination of Jagan towards Chandrababu was again on display as he took part in a public meeting in Nellore last afternoon, where he kept his speech almost entirely around the chief minister.
“Chandrababu is so scared of the opposition leader that he is not letting me hold any public events. The fact that the chief minister is scared of the opposition leader is pathetic. It is better to jump in a well rather than doing this.” Jagan said.
While a few people expected Jagan to be sensible and address public issues, he again displayed the tenacity to see the end of Babu’s regime and was more interested in tormenting the CM.
Then came the customary statement from Jagan as he tried to defame and humiliate Chandrababu while speaking about Midhun Reddy. “ It came to my notice that Chandrababu and Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy had studied together in Tirupati. This was when Ramchandra Reddy slapped Chandrababu with a slipper. He is holding grudge this day and torturing Peddireddy.”
The fact that Jagan had the audacity to say that his party MLA had slapped Chandrababu with a slipper during college days is as pathetic as it can get.
The natural expectation was that Jagan would roll back the days and be with the public after facing humiliating defeat in the previous election. But he is confining his public communications mostly to abuse Chandrababu, which intern displays his fascination with the chief minister.
