After having lost power in the Telangana elections, the BRS ecosystem has come under the writer of the legal authorities. On one hand, there is the disposition about the Kaleshwaram project. On the other hand, we have liquor scam and also the Formula E scam.
And now we have another significant allegation against a senior BRS leader, and he is none other than Talasanj Srinivas Yadav. He has commented of the Enforcement Director rate regarding the alleged sheep scam that happened during the BRS regime in Telangana.
The ED confirmed principal that they had held such operations at certain properties belonging to the OSD who worked with Talasani during his time as the minister.
ED, Hyderabad conducted search operations on 30.07.2025 at eight locations in Hyderabad at the premises of G Kalyan Kumar (OSD to Srinivasa Yadav) as well as certain beneficiaries and middlemen under the provisions of the PMLA, 2002 in connection with financial irregularities in the implementation of ‘Sheep Rearing Development Scheme (SRDS).
ED then confirmed that during the search operations, various incriminating documents and digital devices were found and seized. This is going to be a major breakthrough in the sheep scam case that is filed against the former animal husbandry minister Talasani.
It is reported that this scam has a total monetary volume of Rs 1000+ crore. It is now reported that the enforcement directorate could even be probing into Talasani himself by summoning him.
