The kind of humanitarian efforts displayed by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan are beyond ordinary. He recently distributed slippers and blankets to the tribal population in the agency region. He even sent his homegrown mangoes to the tribal population out of compassion.
Now, the Deputy Chief Minister has taken it a notch further with his thoughtful gesture towards the people of the Pithapuram Assembly constituency.
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan yesterday, the Deputy Chief Minister reportedly sent as many as 1500 sarees to widowed women in the constituency. This was a token of brotherhood and solidarity from the Deputy CM to the financially and socially challenged widowed women.
Under the orders of the Deputy Chief Minister, these 1500 sarees were individually delivered to the widowed women in the constituency. Kalyan reportedly sent a clear message that he will stand like a brother to these women, and there’s no better occasion to show it than on Raksha Bandhan.
This is a very thoughtful and humanitarian effort by Kalyan, and such dynamic actions set him apart from the rest.
