The SIT has filed a detailed second charge sheet of 200 pages in the ACB court concerning the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam. This charge sheet includes crucial evidence against three key individuals: Jagan’s secretary Dhanunjaya Reddy, OSD Krishna Mohan Reddy, and Bharati Cements director Balaji Govindappa.
According to the SIT, major changes in the state’s liquor policy were made strictly under the directions of Bigg Boss, referring to the highest authority in the government. The investigation revealed secret syndicate meetings and confirmed irregularities in the procurement and distribution of liquor stocks.
The SIT detailed how Dhanunjaya Reddy and Krishna Mohan Reddy supervised the liquor policy formulation, implementation, and commission arrangements, receiving orders directly from the former Chief Minister’s Office. Meanwhile, Balaji Govindappa provided instructions on how to collect the huge cash from liquor sales, where to store them, and methods to convert black into white cash.
The second charge sheet includes call data records, Google Takeout information, and laptop data related to all three accused, strengthening the case against them. This comprehensive evidence points to a well-organized conspiracy orchestrated at the highest levels, underlining the critical role played by the accused in manipulating the liquor trade for illegal gains.
