The Andhra Pradesh Government has clarified that the P4 initiative is purely voluntary and not linked to any kind of quotas or mandatory targets for officials or departments.
P4 Foundation, Vice Chairman Kutumba Rao stated that P4 is a people-centric movement aimed at improving lives across the state, cutting across political lines, communities, and regions. He says that the program focuses on participation, not politics and is open to contributions from citizens, businesses, NRIs, volunteers, party workers and officials.
He also noted that the Chief Minister is leading the initiative with the objective of long-term social impact, even if it does not bring immediate political gains. The government assured that any misunderstandings or deviations from the voluntary nature of the program will be addressed immediately.
The primary goal of P4 is to work towards making Andhra Pradesh a Zero Poverty State in the coming years, with the cooperation of all sections of society.
