AP CM, TDP Chief Chandrababu has showered rewards on those who strongly opposed the anti-people decisions taken during the YSRCP rule. Ignoring party and caste boundaries, he has given them nominated posts as a mark of respect for their struggle. A total of 31 posts have been filled, and most of the new appointees are leaders who actively fought against the previous YSRCP government. Some of them even faced jail time for their protests.
Special recognition has been given to those who resisted the three-capital proposal that rejected Amaravati as the sole capital, and to those who fought when Chandrababu himself was arrested. Out of these, three posts have been allotted to Jana Sena leaders and two to BJP leaders. One post has gone to the Amaravati Joint Action Committee which fought for the capital city without any party affiliation.
