Chandrababu Rewards 31 Leaders Who Fought Against YSRCP

AP CM, TDP Chief Chandrababu has showered rewards on those who strongly opposed the anti-people decisions taken during the YSRCP rule. Ignoring party and caste boundaries, he has given them nominated posts as a mark of respect for their struggle. A total of 31 posts have been filled, and most of the new appointees are leaders who actively fought against the previous YSRCP government. Some of them even faced jail time for their protests.

Special recognition has been given to those who resisted the three-capital proposal that rejected Amaravati as the sole capital, and to those who fought when Chandrababu himself was arrested. Out of these, three posts have been allotted to Jana Sena leaders and two to BJP leaders. One post has gone to the Amaravati Joint Action Committee which fought for the capital city without any party affiliation.

Key TDP Appointments

  1. Bala Kotayya – Chairman of Social Welfare Board. Founded the Bahujan JAC to fight for Amaravati and strongly defended TDP in TV debates.
  2. Brahmam Chowdhary – Chairman of Kamma Corporation. Played a key role in the capital movement in Gurazala.
  3. towards the TDP alliance during elections and protested during Chandrababu’s arrest.
  4. C.S. Thyagarajan – Chairman of the newly formed Mudaliar Welfare and Development Corporation. Helped secure Tamil migrant votes for the alliance in Kuppam.
  5. Marupilla Tirumaleshwar Rao – Chairman of Cities Welfare and Development Corporation. Campaigned for BJP leader Sujana Chowdary’s victory in Vijayawada West and supported the alliance.
  6. Nagul Meera Kasunoori – Chairman of Noor Basha and Dudekula Corporation. Known for his strong loyalty to Chandrababu.

  1. Sheikh Riyaz – Chairman of Ongole Urban Development Authority.
  2. Guntasala Venkata Lakshmi – Chairperson of Women’s Development Corporation.
  3. Vampuru Gangulayya – Chairman of Folk Arts and Creativity Academy.
