Historic Day: Babu To Launch Stree Shakti Program!

The government of Andhra Pradesh is set to initiate one of its most prestigious and hallmark mass outreach programmes in the form of Stree Shakti. For those who don’t already know, this is the free RTC travel program for women that the government is introducing today. August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day.

Chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu is set to kickstart this program with a flagging off ceremony that is being held at Vijayawada.

At first, it was announced by Chandrababu that this program would be applicable only for in intracity travel and cannot be used to travel across the state. Then came around of contemplation, and the chief minister decided to go all out with this program.

And now, this program is set to come to full implementation from today with the flagging off ceremony to be attended by CM Babu. 

This program will now permit women to travel free of cost all across Andhra Pradesh with no district level limit. This will be one of the crucial mass outreach programs, and a potential game changer for the NDA government.

The government is looking to enhance the livelihood of the female population. This free RTC bus travel program is intended to uplift the education, healthcare and social awareness amongst women.

If this program is implemented with top efficiency, then this could pretty much seal the deal for the NDA government as the female population will be relying behind them. If that is done, then there is no stopping the NDA government in the near future as the female population is the most decisive sector when it comes to elect a government.
