AP Minister for IT, Electronics, Communications and HRD, Nara Lokesh, has received a rare recognition from the Australian government. He has been formally invited to take part in the country’s prestigious Special Visits Program (SVP), an exclusive diplomatic initiative aimed at building long-term strategic partnerships with global leaders.
The Australian government acknowledged Lokesh’s leadership in the past year, particularly his initiatives in human resource development and economic growth in Andhra Pradesh. The invitation letter highlighted that Australia looks forward to being a natural partner in achieving these goals.
Notably, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also part of this very same program back in 2001, which gives the recognition even more historical importance.
During his Australia visit, Lokesh is scheduled to interact with experts and investors in education, skill development, aquaculture, and infrastructure, opening doors for collaborations and investments between Andhra Pradesh and Australia.
This invitation is not just a personal honour for Lokesh but also a proud moment for Andhra Pradesh, positioning the state on a larger global stage of partnerships and opportunities.
