Kavitha Slams ‘3 Leaders’ Behind Kaleshwaram Scandal

One of the principal narratives that is being carried by the Congress government against the previous BRS ecosystem is the alleged corruption in the Kaleshwaram Project. The matter has taken a serious turn after chief minister, Revanth Reddy announced that he would be inviting a CBI probe in this scam case. 

This has triggered the entire BRS ecosystem as several senior leaders, including KCR, Harish Rao and others are named in this Kaleshwaram scam, which could be amounting several thousands of crores.

In this context, Kavita addressed the media today shortly after Revanth Reddy communicated the invitation of the CBI investigation in this matter. As expected, Kavitha had a series of shocking revelations to make.

The BRS firebrand lady Leader pointed out that KCR does not have any great about money or power, but it is those 3 people around him, who instigated this scam operation. 

“There is this one former Rajya Sabha MP(Santosh), Harish Rao and Megha Krishna Reddy, who are behind the Kaleshwaram scam. These people are the reason why KCR’s name came up in this illegal operation and they rubbed filth on my father who is innocent.” Kavitha said in front of the media. 

The fact that Kavita directly mentioned the name of Harish Rao in this Kaleshwaram case, while categorically denying the misdeeds of KCR could be a pivotal turn in the whole matter. Being a top member of the BRS leadership herself, Kavita must have had an understanding of what went wrong in the process. Her direct reference to Harish Rao must not be taken lightly.
