The government of Andhra Pradesh has started to implement each and every one of its electoral promises in the name of Super Six. After maintaining top efficiency in this regard, a grand celebratory event was held in Anantapur today and it was attended by Chief Minister Chandrababu and DCM Kalyan.
While addressing the massive crowd that had gathered at the arena today, Chief Minister Chandrababu delivered a masterstroke.
Babu announced the implementation of the Vahana Mitra program, as part of which the government will be starting a DBT program that would benefit auto rickshaw drivers.
“Starting from this Dasara season, the government will implement this Vahana Mitra program. Auto drivers will be receiving financial assistance of ₹15,000 as a part of this program. This was one of the electoral promises made by the alliance and it will be brought to implementation soon,” Babu announced.
This communication from the Chief Minister comes shortly after the successful implementation of the free RTC travel program that is already a winner amongst the female population.
While this RTC program is gaining traction every day, there was unrest amongst auto drivers saying the free RTC program affects their livelihood. There was a need to counter this dissent from the section of auto drivers and CM Chandrababu did precisely the same.
On one hand, the RTC program is catering to the female population and on the other, the Vahana Mitra will help support the auto drivers community. Babu has successfully appeased both sections with the timely implementation of these crucial programs.
