Once Again, Sunitha Switches Party

Former MLC Pothula Sunitha has once again changed her political track. Known for her frequent party shifts, Sunitha along with her husband Pothula Suresh has now joined the BJP in the presence of party national president JP Nadda.

Sunitha’s political journey has been marked by constant changes. She began her career in the TDP, where she served for a long period and even became an MLC. Later, she resigned from both the party and her MLC post to join the YCP. But when YSRCP lost power, Sunitha too stepped away, quitting the party and her legislative role.

For the past few years, she remained without any party, occasionally exploring a return to TDP or even Jana Sena. However, her earlier remarks against Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh blocked her TDP re-entry, while Jana Sena reportedly showed little interest.

Finally, she has picked BJP as her new political home. Political observers say her career reflects a pattern of moving only toward parties in power, raising questions about how long she will stay with BJP. For now, the spotlight is back on Sunitha, as she makes yet another political leap.
