Pawan Kalyan, Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena chief, has fixed the time to hit the public stage. For months, there were talks about his direct outreach, but it kept getting postponed. Now, with pressure from within the party and rising expectations among people, Janasena has locked the date. The move will begin in the first week of October, right after Dasara.
Pawan feels that though the government has launched many programs, they have not reached the people in the right way. He has been stressing that the publicity has been weak and the party graph is not rising as it should. He has made it clear that only by being among the people can this change, which is why he has now taken the call to step out himself.
Along with showcasing development works in villages and tribal areas, he plans to highlight campaigns like a plastic-free society and the planting of one crore saplings. More than that, the idea is to energize the party at the ground level.
With local body elections lined up early next year, this timing is seen as crucial. Last time, Janasena did not contest directly but several supported candidates won independently. This time, with the party holding power, there is scope to make a real impact.
Dasara will mark not just a festival, but also the beginning of Janasena’s fresh push into the people, led by Pawan Kalyan himself.
