Vallabhaneni Vamsi Is Back, But Briefly!

After having incoherently abused power and verbally attacked Chandrababu and Lokesh until 2024, Vallabhaneni Vamsi turned uncharacteristically silent following the electoral debacle.

He was arrested and jailed for several months on multiple corruption charges. After his release, Vamsi remained quiet and stayed away from active politics.

For a change, however, Vamsi stepped out yesterday as he briefly met YSR Congress supporters in Gannavaram and spent some time with them. The interaction was short-lived, and he quickly returned to his hibernation mode.

Vamsi has completely lost the so-called glamour that his chief YS Jagan once praised. Visually, he looks very different from the past, with his facial features barely recognizable compared to his earlier days.

He is one of the many YCP leaders who went underground after the 2024 election result. Except for occasional appearances, he has been absent from party activities.

The tough lessons taught by the NDA government for his past misdeeds appear to have had a sobering effect.

This brief appearance is drawing attention, especially in light of recent reports suggesting his permanent retirement from politics.
