Kurnool TDP Boils Over ‘Nominated Post’

TDP is once again facing internal trouble over the distribution of nominated posts. This has always been a tricky area for the party. While the YSR Congress openly gives such positions to its close leaders, TDP often tries to balance different groups and ends up upsetting its loyal workers.

A similar situation is now unfolding in Kurnool. Many local TDP leaders are angry after the Srisailam Temple trust board position was given to a woman named Sindhu Sri, wife of a well-known doctor, Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The post was reportedly meant for a BC community woman, but Sindhu was appointed instead. Adding to the anger, there are claims that her family supported the YSR Congress in the past. Some even question whether she is an official TDP member.

This decision has caused frustration among long-time party workers who feel ignored once again. Such issues have created internal problems for TDP many times before. Now, it is up to Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh to handle the situation carefully, especially after promising that loyal party members will be given due recognition.
