The recent visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Andhra Pradesh has sparked a new round of controversy, with reports suggesting that YSRCP socialmedia batch tried to use the event for its own political publicity.
According to central intelligence sources, YSRCP circulated false claims about the Prime Minister’s visit. The party reportedly stated that it had submitted a representation to the PM, requesting about the medical colleges issue and Valmikis be included in the Scheduled Tribes list. However, officials have clarified that no such representation was made.
Interestingly, during its five years in power, YSRCP had never invited opposition party leaders to any of the Prime Minister’s official programs, even though the protocol required it.
In contrast, after the NDA coalition came to power in Andhra Pradesh, the new government has been ensuring that invitations are extended to all political representatives, including YSRCP members, as part of the official protocol.
The NDA government has been following a balanced and inclusive approach, maintaining respect for all public representatives, regardless of their party affiliation. Even YSRCP leaders have been attending these events, acknowledging the government’s commitment to fairness and protocol.
However, YSRCP’s attempt to turn the PM’s visit into a propaganda opportunity has raised questions about its political strategy and credibility.
