Owaisi Demands Demolish PV and NTR’s Graveyards, KTR Condemns

The political heat in Hyderabad is on the rise with GHMC elections. The other day Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay made sensational comments that once BJP bags GHMC Mayor seat, they would do a surgical strike on Rohingya Muslims and Pakistanis residing in Old City part of Hyderabad.

However, these comments invited huge criticism from TRS and MIM. Yet Bandi Sanjay stuck to his comments and added that he will not take back his comments and reiterated that if BJP is voted to power in GHMC, it will definitely eliminate Pakistanis and Rohingya Muslims from Old City.

And now the Owaisi brother has crossed the line with his comments. Targeting the TRS party, Akbaruddin Owaisi said, “Hussain Sagar was spread across 4700 acres and today it is not even 700 acres. This TRS government says it will demolish the constructions in Hyderabad, if so, they should also demolish PV Narasimha Rao and NTR’s graveyards which are close to Hussain Sagar.”

TRS Working President KTR was quick enough to react to Owaisi’s comments. “I strongly condemn the comments of MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi against PV Narasimha Rao and NTR. Both PV and NTR are pride of Telugu community. One worked as the PM of the country while NTR served as CM with unmatchable public service. Derogatory comments against these two legends are objectionable and this is not a good practice in democracy,” tweeted KTR.

With just a few more days to go, we might hear more such offensive comments but politicians should be aware of the consequences for their slip of tongue.
