‘TDP Will Never Be In Opposition Again’

Telugu Desam party stood the challenge of time over the last 4 decades. But the party and its cadres faced the most significant challenge between 2019 and 2024, when YS Jagan was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. This relentless tormenting appears to have forged a new fire in TDP’s top leadership.

The same can be understood if you look at the latest statement from chief minister Chandrababu, who appears to be fully aware of the political scenario.

Chandrababu stated that Telugu Desam party will never be in opposition again. He added that the party will be in a position of power for a really long time, and there are no second thoughts on the same. 

Chandrababu has a clear strategy for this as well. He pointed out that he himself and Nara Lokesh will be present at the TDP office twice a week every week. The party working leadership will never be ignored, and we will ensure that cadre are fully enriched. 

A crucial reason behind the defeat of TDP in the previous election in 2019 was the reluctance of the cadre who faced ignorance. It is evident that Chandrababu has understood this mistake and is doing everything in his power to eliminate the same. 

If TDP cadres are firing with all cylinders and the imminent alliance harmony continues, then there’s every chance that the NDA alliance will stay in power for a long time and that’s exactly what Babu implied. If that really is the case, then Jagan could be in for a long wait for power as breaking the integrity of the alliance hasn’t been possible for him historically, an analyst pointed out.
