The government of Andhra Pradesh has been repeatedly warning against fake news peddling and misinformation propaganda. Anyone who crosses the line is being warned of consequences, but certain YCP leaders have been breaching this policy repeatedly.
And now there is finally some affirmative action against the YCP ecosystem as it is reported that the party loudmouth Karmuri Venkat Reddy has been arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police.
Reportedly the police officials arrived at Venkat Reddy’s residence in Hyderabad earlier in the day today and took him into custody, and he is currently being shifted to Tadipatri.
Venkat Reddy is one of the provocative leaders in the YCP Media department and is often known for making controversial comments in TV debates. He did the same in the Parakamani incident and also the Kaveri bus fire accident as he blatantly spread misinformation against the NDA government.
On top of that, there are several cases filed against Venkat Reddy in Andhra Pradesh. And finally, he is facing the consequences as he has been arrested by the police and is being prosecuted now.
