Today happens to be an eventful day in Telugu state politics as both Jagan and KTR have come at the legal radar coincidentally in a span of few hours.
First, it is Jagan, who had to attend the Nampalli CBI court hearing in connection with his disproportionate assets and quid pro quo cases which have been under the court’s jurisdiction for over a decade.
After a gap of six years, Jagan finally appeared in front of the Nampalli court today with regard to the quid pro quo cases.
Coincidentally, this is followed by legal jurisdiction on KTR, who himself has come under the ACB radar in connection with the quid pro quo allegations in the Formula E scam case. The ACB could successfully gain permission from Telangana governor to prosecute KTR in this case.
Incidentally, both KTR and Jagan are now facing the consequences in a tight span with regard to quid pro quo cases. While Jagan has been locked with these cases for allegedly helping private companies in exchange for gains while his father YSR was CM, KTR faces similar charges for alleged financial gains in orchestration of Formula E race.
