The kind of proactive approach the Andhra Pradesh government has been taking with regard to educational reforms and social infrastructure has been at a different level altogether. Now, it appears that IT and education minister Lokesh has outdone himself with his latest move.
Lokesh has shared a video on social media in which we see legendary English football player, David Beckham, who is one of the global icons in the sporting industry visited a government School in Vizag.
Sharing this video on social media, Lokesh wrote “Thank you David Beckham, legendary footballer & UNICEF India Goodwill Ambassador, for visiting our Govt Residential School in Kothavalasa near Vizag.
Your heartfelt interactions, encouragement and playful energy lit up our classrooms and our playground. Our students were thrilled to learn how to bend it like Beckham – lessons they will carry with them for life! We deeply appreciate your commitment to children’s dreams and education”, Lokesh stated.
It must have been an absolute world-class experience to witness the all-time great David Beckham interact with government school kids in Vizag, and even play a fun game of football with them.
It is being established that David Beckham, the legendary soccer player, visited a school in Visakhapatnam to support the Education Above All Foundation’s project-based learning initiatives. This will now go down as one of the hallmark development in the NDA government tenure.
