The government of Andhra Pradesh is fully committed to develop Amaravati as the multi-faceted capital of the state. The authorities and the top leadership, including CM Chandrababu are making every effort to realise this dream.
Now a significant step has been taken towards developing Amaravati into the financial hub of Andhra Pradesh, as the government has orchestrated a mega program today, November 28.
The foundation ceremony for as many as 25 banks in the Amaravati region is going to be held today, and the event is going to be attended by Union finance minister, Nirmala Seetharaman. In accordance with this, the union finance minister arrived in Andhra last night, and she was welcomed by CM Chandrababu.
The mega foundation ceremony is going to be one of its kind event as this is the first time that a groundbreaking ceremony for 25 banks is going to be held on the same day. Even the union finance minister is said to be thoroughly impressed with this proposal, and she is looking forward to the event.
The CRDA has completed the permission and allocation works for this mega project. This could potentially pay the wave to develop Amaravati as the financial hub with as many banks operating in a close enclosure. There is a very good chance that the majority of these banks could prioritize Amaravati and run operations from here, considering the unrelenting support from the AP government.
