There are certain political parties in the Telugu states, which do not even take the parliamentary session seriously as their MPs rarely attend the session, let alone asking crucial questions in the house.
But in the case of young MP from TDP, Lavu Krishnadevarayulu, he is proving to be a different breed altogether. He has issued an unprecedented offer to Andhra Pradesh youth and let’s have a look into it.
In his elaborate message on social media, the young TDP MP from Narsaraopeta stated “Dear young friends and youth of Andhra Pradesh, as Parliament’s winter session commences tomorrow, I want to hear from you! What are the issues you feel, I as the TDP Parliamentary Party Leader, along with my fellow TDP MPs, should raise in Parliament to make a difference for our state and your future?”.
This essentially means that the MP has called on AP youth to express their concerns and he promised to sort them out and raise these topics in ten parliamentary sessions accordingly.
The MP for the added that TDP believes in participative democracy and want youth to be part of it. “Drop your thoughts in the comments! Let’s work together to bring attention to the issues that matter on the national stage.”
This is perhaps one of the first times that a Telugu MP has called on the youth in the state to raise their questions and promised to bring them up in the parliament. He will be serving as a portal between the common public and the Parliament, which is something that we have not seen till now.
