‘Uncourteous On Modi’s Part For Not Inviting Me’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hyderabad visit – to review Covid-19 vaccine development at Bharat Biotech – is hitting headlines for many reasons. As the GHMC civic polls are only two days away, naturally, PM’s visit to the city is garnering political reverberations. While TRS leaders are alleging that CM KCR was not allowed to receive Prime Minister as per protocol, here is yet another controversy from Congress MP Revanth Reddy.

Revanth has complained to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi against PMO and PM. Revanth said that PM’s visit to Bharat Biotech facility falls under his parliament constituency Malkajgiri Lok Sabha. He said he had not received any invitation from the PMO despite being the Lok Sabha MP from the constituency. Revanth said he has also not received any communication from the PMO.Complaining to the Speaker and Parliamentary Affairs minister, Revanth said it was uncourteous on the part of the PM.

Revanth took to social media and tweeted. It became a talking point in political circles. Revanth has tagged the national media along with Congress party’s top leaders. Looks like Revanth got a fair reason to raise at a time when CM KCR couldn’t even raise the issue. Surely, Revanth is showing the power of a Parliament Member. Let’s see whether the Speaker would intervene or not.
