Star Investors Set for Telangana Rising Global Summit

After the recent success of CII summit in Vizag by AP government, now on similar lines, Telangana Government is hosting The Telangana Rising Global Summit is set to become one of the biggest business events hosted by the state aiming to attract grand investments for the state.

With several top Indian and international companies preparing to sign major MoUs and investment deals who are already on the guest list for the event. The summit is expected to attract large-scale industrial, technology, tourism, energy and entertainment investments, giving a strong boost to Telangana’s economic growth.

Among the biggest announcements, TCS and TPG are planning Hypervault data centres in Hyderabad with an investment of around ₹70,000 crore, one of the largest tech infrastructure projects in the country. Hyundai Motor Company is expected to set up a test track and a manufacturing plant in Zaheerabad with an ₹8,000 crore investment, while Mahindra & Mahindra plans to expand its existing plant with ₹400 crore. Electronics manufacturer Wistron is set to invest ₹1,000 crore, and Crompton Greaves is planning a new manufacturing unit in Fab City with ₹300 crore.

In the technology and pharma segment, Aqylon Nexus and North Star are investing ₹850 crore in AI and data initiatives. Sanofi GCC is expanding its pharma operations with ₹3,500 crore, MSN is building a new R&D hub with ₹1,500 crore, and Biological E is planning a new R&D centre.

The summit will also focus on tourism, entertainment and real estate. Foodlink is planning an integrated convention centre, expo, and three hotels with ₹3,000 crore. Crystal Lagoons and Green Panthers are developing an urban beach and entertainment hub with ₹850 crore. Renewable energy firm Athirath Holdings will build 25 CBG plants with ₹4,000 crore, and Japan’s Lixil Group will establish a housing fixtures facility.

The summit is expected to host big industrial leaders, international investors and several celebrities including Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Sukumar, Rishab Shetty and M.M. Keeravani. Traditional cultural performances are also lined up, making it a landmark event for Telangana’s growth and development taking inspiration from CBN, who has also been invited for the event known to develop Hyderabad on the lines of Vision 2020.
