After Hit By Water & Tear Gas, Farmers Feed The Cops

Despite the police cracking down on them during the Chalo Delhi protest, farmers have displayed their generosity by feeding the same cops. Many images showing the brutality of cops on the farmers have gone viral but here are a couple of images that exhibit the real nature of farmers.

In one of the image, policemen are seen lined up to collect food being distributed by a farmer.

In the other image, two policemen are found drinking water from a truck carrying some protesting farmers.

Though the police had blocked their way with barricades, barbed wires, concrete blocks, trucks with deflated tyres, sand-laden tractors and resorted to shelling them with teargas and water cannons, even at night, the farmers resolve to get their grievances addressed seems to be firm as they continue their peaceful march towards Delhi.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police said it had decided to close Tikri and Singhu entry points.Delhi Traffic Police advised commuters to avoid roads and stretches on the Delhi- Haryana border as adamant farmers continue marching towards Delhi. Hundreds of commuters have already been left stranded and stuck in traffic jams and snarls on these roads.
