Chandrababu Naidu Wins Prestigious ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ Award

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has been selected for the prestigious Business Reformer of the Year award by The Economic Times. The honour has been announced in recognition of his efforts to promote business friendly policies, drive industrial reforms, and attract large scale investments to the state.

The award will be presented at a special event scheduled to be held in March. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to confer the award on the Chief Minister.

The selection was made by a high profile jury comprising leading industrialists, financial experts, and legal professionals. The jury included Bharti Group Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal, JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal, Kotak Mahindra Bank founder Uday Kotak, Narayana Health founder Dr Devi Shetty, senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, and Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata. Deloitte served as the knowledge partner for the jury.

The Economic Times noted that Andhra Pradesh has seen renewed momentum in investment promotion and policy reforms under Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, making the state more attractive for industries and businesses.

In the past, the Business Reformer of the Year award has been presented to prominent leaders such as Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw, S Jaishankar, and Nirmala Sitharaman, along with former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and late Union Minister Arun Jaitley.

Following the announcement, several political leaders, ministers, and well wishers extended their congratulations to the Chief Minister on receiving the honour.
