The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, has been taking his administrative duties in the Panchayat Raj and Forest Ministry quite seriously. Here is an interesting statistic that clearly implies the same.
Under the effective leadership of Pawan Kalyan, substantial progress has been registered in educating and empowering employees and public representatives under the Grama Swaraj Abhiyan scheme.
Andhra Pradesh has secured the number one position at the national level by providing training to 2.82 lakh public representatives and employees of local bodies under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan program.
During the previous government’s tenure, the state stood at the 24th position in this sector. However, within one and a half years of governance under the NDA alliance, Andhra Pradesh has risen from 24th position to the top rank.
Under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, the State Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department is steering local self governing institutions onto a path of progress. This is a crucial step in enhancing local body administration and educating public representatives about their responsibilities and duties.
Kalyan has been working with integrity and vision across all his departments, and this is reflecting in the numbers and statistics. The fact that Andhra Pradesh has gone from 24th position to 1st position on this list is a clear indication of the same.
