Babu Frustrated With ‘Chillara’ Politics

There are not many other politicians in India, who can boast of as much experience and knowledge as Telugu desam party chief and the incumbent chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu. 

The same is to be understood from the latest statement issued by Chandrababu at Atal Bihari Vajpayee memorial event that was held today. 

While addressing the massive public gathering at the event today, Chandrababu stated that he was once doing politics with the likes of Atal Bihari and it was a golden period of Indian politics. 

“I was the one who did politics with the legendary Indian politicians like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and now I am having to do ‘Chillara rajakeeyalu’ with these brat politicians.” Babu pointed out. 

This is perhaps a reflection of the fact that Chandrababu had to sustain a lot of personal abuse in the last five years of YCP regime. On top of the personal abuse on Babu himself, he even had to endure abusive comments on his wife and the rest of the family members. This is the worst phase of politics that Babu had seen and he appears to be hinting at the same now. 

It really must have been a tough experience for Babu to go from legendary politics with the likes of Atal Bihari Vajpai to the contemporary abusive politics. And at the same time, he pointed out that the public welfare and the interests of the wider sections is more important to him than any personal abuse.
