Heated Debate: BRS Boycotts Assembly Session!

The Telangana assembly sessions are usually loaded with heated debates. The same turned out to be the case this time as well, as we witnessed a head on collision between the ruling Congress and opposition, BRS.

However, BRS has multiple shortcomings in this assembly session despite the fact that it’s been barely two days since the start of the same.

First, it was the early departure of former chief minister KCR from the Assembly session. Everyone expected KCR to return to the assembly like a fighter and take the ruling Congress government to the cleaners. But KCR turned out to register just a nominal presence in the house as he stayed for less than 10 minutes.

And today, just when things were starting to heat up with chief minister Revanth Reddy, starting to crack down on KCR and his previous BRS regime, the latter communicated that they’re boycotting the assembly.

Harish Rao came before the media and said they could not tolerate Revanth Reddy personally abusing KCR in the Assembly. He also alleged that BRS was not being given enough time in the House.

Subsequently, it was communicated by the BRS ecosystem that they are boycotting the assembly session and will not be partaking in the same.

With the Congress party, having completed two years in power, everyone expected BRS to go really hard in the ongoing assembly session. But it went the exact opposite way with main man, KCR himself walking out briefly after his entry, followed by the boycott today.
