The stage is set for the launch of a new political party in Telangana by KCR’s daughter Kavitha. She is on course to launch her own political party and contest the next assembly election in the state, which is scheduled for 2028.
Meanwhile, Kavitha has started to initiate the foundation level construction for her party and has formed 32 different committees for the same.
She stated that special committees have been formed to study the failures of the BRS and Congress parties that governed the region after the formation of Telangana state, to study the constitutions of all parties, and to draft a highly democratic constitution.
These committees will also study 32 issues, including water, funds, and appointments. She instructed the committee members to conduct field-level studies and submit their reports by the 17th of this month to the Steering Committee, which is headed by Working President Roop Singh.
She added that based on the report submitted by the Steering Committee, Jagruthi will hold a state-level executive committee meeting to take further decisions.
More than the intellectual preparation, it is the sentimental and political expertise that primarily works in Telangana and it has to be seen if Kavitha has it in her to appease to the voters in the next 3 years time.
