
Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh and JanaSena chief Pawan Kalyan has invited people from Telangana to take part in the grand Sankranti celebrations in Godavari districts.
During the Sankranthi festivities in Pithapuram, Pawan Kalyan spoke about the cultural bond shared by Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through the Godavari river. He said festivals like Sankranthi should bring people together beyond state boundaries.
Pawan Kalyan highlighted that the Godavari region has a rich cultural heritage and called upon people from Telangana to visit Andhra Pradesh and experience the traditional celebrations. He said Sankranthi is a festival of unity, family values, and cultural pride.
He also appealed to people to celebrate the festival peacefully and in a traditional manner, without indulging in gambling or other activities that spoil the spirit of Sankranthi.
The Deputy Chief Minister assured that the government has made proper arrangements for the celebrations and safety of visitors. The event witnessed large public participation along with cultural programmes and traditional performances.
