Nitin Nabin has officially taken over as the new national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He assumed the role at a formal event held at the party’s national headquarters, attended by several senior leaders from across the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former party president JP Nadda, and union ministers including Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and Nitin Gadkari were present at the ceremony. Chief ministers, members of Parliament, and senior party leaders also attended, making it a high profile occasion for the party.
At 45 years of age, Nitin Nabin hails from Bihar and has been elected to the top party post unanimously. He is known within the organisation as a committed grassroots worker with strong organisational skills. Over the years, he has won multiple elections as an MLA and has also handled key responsibilities as party in charge for several states. Party leaders believe his experience at both the ground level and organisational level will help strengthen the BJP further.
Senior leaders expressed confidence that the party would continue to grow under his leadership. They also stated that capable and hardworking leaders would be given due importance in the organisation going forward.
Speaking at the event, JP Nadda said that the country has moved towards a more secure and confident phase under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that the BJP is expected to gain more strength and direction under Nitin Nabin’s leadership.
Following his appointment, several political leaders congratulated Nitin Nabin. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu shared his wishes on social media, congratulating him on taking charge as BJP national president.
With a new president at the helm, the BJP now looks ahead to the next phase of its political journey under Nitin Nabin’s leadership.
