Generally, Toyota Fortuners or Tata Safaris are used for chief minister’s security and convoy purposes. But it appears that Bihar chief Minister Nitish Kumar is not satisfied with this as his government is reportedly procuring Range Rover cars for his commute.
According to the latest development, Bihar chief Minister, Nitish Kumar will be soon upgrading his vehicle fleet as he will be going around in four luxury Range Rover cars that will be a part of his convoy.
The Bihar government is going to spend over ₹11 crore to procure these Range Rover cars and the financials have been sanctioned already. These super luxury cars will be added to the chief minister’s convoy shortly.
It must be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi also uses Range Rover cars for security and travel purposes as they come with the best in class safety and comfort features. They have the fire suspension and flat tire drive facilities that are highly rated.
But for the first time in India, we will see a chief minister using the mighty Range Rover fleet for his convoy and it is Nitish Kumar who is going to set this piece of history. Each of these cars are going to cost in the range of ₹2.79 crore and there will be 4 of them in the convoy.
